KIPP&ZONEN CGR4Long wave Earth radiation meter

-Working principle:

The KIPP&ZONEN CGR4 long wave/Earth radiation meter is not only a choice for scientific use, but also a choice for solar radiation monitoring networks such as the World Meteorological Organization's Base Radiation Network (BSRN). The CGR4 longwave radiometer has a specially designed semi-circular silicon window that provides a 180 ° field of view, and has a hard carbon coating on the outside to smooth spectral response and provide additional surface protection. Each instrument has its own temperature response data, ranging from -20 ° C to+50 ° C, expressed in octal for every 10 ° C. A 10K thermistor internal temperature sensor has been set up and a Pt-100 sensor can be selected. The solar longwave radiometer uses infrared window materials to absorb most of the shortwave solar radiation and creates a setting in the reading. This usually requires shielding ultraviolet rays from direct solar radiation to minimize this heating effect. However, the design of the CGR4 longwave/Earth radiometer can set the heating of the dome to a negligible level (especially during ventilation) without the need for dome temperature measurement or dome shading.

Introduction Download Technology Order Partment Application

The CGR4 long wave/Earth radiation meter transmits infrared radiation through a silicon glass window, and the internal thin film coating blocks short wave solar radiation from reaching the thermopile detector, with a field of view of 180 ° C. The compact and sealed structure makes this instrument an ideal choice for horticulture and agriculture. The installation screw can be used to install the rod, making it easy to install.
